How to measure your Newfoundland for good fit Collar:
Please be advised that:
- For buckle collar when you specify neck size we will make collar fit on central hole.
- There will be 5 holes and distance between each 2 holes is 1 inch (25 mm).
- For example: your dog's neck size is 20 inches (50 cm). Collar will fit on central hole at 20 inches (50 cm).
- There will be 2 smaller size holes - 18 inches (45 cm) and 19 inches (47.5 cm).
- 2 bigger size holes - 21 inch (52.5 cm) and 22 inches (55 cm).
- There will also be tip of the collar after last hole about 2 inches long (5 cm).
- Those are handcrafted collars and some sizes will differ a little (not in significant way).
Precise info
Leather. We use only high quality leather that is 100% full-grain and genuine. It is very durable, soft and pleasant to the touch. Leather strap is rather wide and optimal for such dog breed as Newfoundland. It won’t cut into the dog’s neck when pulling.
Hardware. The collar has such metal elements as: easy fixed buckle, D-ring for leash attachment, and decorative spikes which are steel nickel plated. Also there are brass half ball studs which are located between 2 rows of spikes and are evenly spread as well. The hardware is hand set and riveted for extra durability. Buckle is very comfortable in fixing as well as D-ring is of optimal size to have no discomfort when fixing a leash. None of the metal elements of the product contacts with the dog’s hair. Thus the dog is not endangered to any kind of allergies and discoloration. The leather tip of the collar is fixed with a help of special rectengular-shape ring that is also attached near the buckle but on the opposite side of D-ring.
